Industry experts name a list of actresses who will make it big this 2022, including Han So Hee, Kim Tae Ri, Kim Hye Soo and more. Chosen by 62 experts, the survey was conducted by Cine21 forecasting stars who will shine this year.
Han So Hee Leads the List of Female Actresses to Watch in 2022, Based on Survey
Scoring the top spot is Han So Hee. From fifth place in 2021, the 27-year-old beauty made a giant leap due to her recent projects that drew the public's attention.
After her big break in "The World of the Married," she headlines two blockbuster Kdramas, namely "Nevertheless" with Song Kang and the mega-hit Netflix series "My Name" with Park Hee Soon and Ahn Bo Hyun.
Landing in second place is Kim Tae Ri. The South Korean beauty opened the year with a bang as she starred in the award-winning movie "Space Sweepers" as Captain Jang Hyun Sook alongside Song Joong Ki.
Interestingly, the "Mr. Sunshine" star will return to the small screen with two upcoming Kdramas.
First is her team up with Nam Joo Hyuk in "Twenty-Five Twenty-One," slated to be released February 12.
The second is being in talks to star with Gong Yoo for the Kdrama "The Devil."
Kim Tae Ri will be booked and busy this year as she is also set to appear in the sci-fi action fantasy movie "Alien + People" with Kim Woo Bin and Ryu Joon Yeol.

Joining the list of female actresses to watch in 2022 is none other than the ever stunning Kim Hye Soo.
The award-winning actress will also return to Kdrama land with her upcoming Netflix series "Juvenile Justice."
Scheduled to air sometime in the first half of 2022, Kim Hye Soo will transform as Yeonhwa District's newly appointed judge who extremely hates juvenile offenders.
On top of it, she is also in talks to headline a tvN series "Umbrella" and a new movie "Smugglers" with Jo In Sung, Go Min Si and more.
Moving to fourth place for female actresses to watch in 2022 includes Yeom Jung Ah, IU, Park Eun Bin.
Yeom Jung Ah is also set to star in "Smugglers" and appears in JTBC's "Snowdrop."
She has also received a casting offer for the upcoming drama "Cleaning Up."
As for IU, fans would get to see the singer-actress on the big screen with two new films, "Broker" and the sports comedy movie "Dream."
Capping off at fifth place are Jeon Jong Seo, Shin Hye Sun, Jeon Yeo Been.
Lee Do Hyun Tops the Survey of New Actors Predicted to Shine in 2022
Several experts believe that Lee Do Hyun will shine this 2022.
After recently wrapping up the series "Melancholia" with Im Soo Jung, the South Korean heartthrob will reunite with his "Youth of May," and "Sweet Home" co-star Go Min Si in "Reincarnation Love."
Moreover, he will also team up with Hallyu star Song Hye Kyo in the much-anticipated Kdrama "The Glory."
Landing the second place is the "D.P" star Goo Kyo Hwan followed by "Move to Heaven" and "Racket Boys" star Tang Jun Sang at third.
Ahn Bo Hyun and Yoon Chan Young made it at fourth place while Rowoon Byun Woo Seok, "Squid Game" star Wi Ha Joon, Song Kang, Kim Seon Ho and Lee Jun Young made it to the fifth spot.
