Did you know that T-ARA Hyomin joined the cast of the worldwide hit series "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho" with Lee Seung Gi and Shin Min Ah?
She starred in the drama as Dae Woong's (Lee Seung Gi) best friend, Sun Nyeo.
The 2010 fantasy romance comedy drama kick started her career as an actress, while still pursuing her passion as an idol.

2. 'Gyebaek'
From a supporting role, Hyomin jumped onto a bigger role in the 2011 historical action drama "Gyebaek."
She worked together with veteran actors Lee Seo Jin, Cho Jae Hyun, Song Ji Hyo, Oh Yeon Soo and more.
In the drama, she portrayed the role of Cho Young, Gyebaek's (Lee Seo Jin) wife who has an amazing ability in martial arts.
Hyomin perfectly immersed herself in her character, which opened many great opportunities for her.

After "Gyebaek," Hyomin landed another major acting role alongside Han Da Gam, No Min Woo, Park Sung Min and Hwang Ji Hyun.
The 2011 horror film "Ghastly" depicts the terrifying story of a woman who raises an orphan, who brought horrifying mysteries and shocking secrets to their humble home.

4. 'The Thousandth Man'
With big stars Lee Chun Hee, Kang Ye Won and Park Jung Hak, Hyomin showed off that she could be at par with the veterans.
She joined the cast of the 2012 South Korean drama "The Thousandth Man," which depicts the story of a gumiho (nine-tailed fox) who tries to eat one more man's liver, after devouring 999 men.
Despite its unconventional plot, the story is lighthearted, romantic and funny. It perfectly boasted Hyomin's versatility and amazing acting. "The Thousandth Man" is available for online streaming on Viki.
