'Tracer' Lead Star Im Siwan Surprises Viewers with His Strong Presence in the Drama
The action-comedy series takes place at the National Tax Service. The idol-actor takes the role of Hwang Dong Joo, a new team manager of the Seoul Regional Office Investigation Bureau.
"Tracer" also impresses viewers with its star-studded cast, namely Go Ah Sung, Son Hyun Joo, and Park Yong Woo.
After stealing hearts with his 2021 romance series "Run On," Im Siwan swiftly made a character transformation and established his chemistry with the actors. He is drawing more attention with his exceptional visual transformation including his new curly hair and shabby outfits.
As soon as Im Siwan entered the story, he easily built his character as Hwang Dong Joo, who digs up into the case on his own without paying attention to his team. His slyness and new charm caused a pleasant laugh to the audience.

In particular, in "Tracer" episode 1, Hwang Dong Joo receives back taxes while solving the tax evasion case of baseball player Byun Bong Seok, who is rampant with all kinds of violence and corruption.
Apart from him, the public is also looking forward to the other cast's acting transformation as the story continues to evolve.

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 1 scored an average nationwide rating of 7.4 percent proving that it is the most-watched Friday-Saturday drama on primetime.
