Cho Yi Hyun began her career with small roles in different dramas like "Hospital Playlist" and "Bad Papa."
"School 2021" marks the actress' first drama with a major role. She said, "In the past, I needed to turn multiple pages to find my lines in the script. But in this drama, in which I'm the main character, I didn't need to do it."
"I'm not sure I gave a great performance but I did my best to make sure I had no regrets," the actress added.

Cho Yi Hyun shared her happiness about portraying the main role for the first time, which was both difficult and enjoyable for her. She perfectly showed off her immersive acting, gaining praises and appreciation from fans and viewers.
Her top notch performance and undeniable chemistry with Kim Yo Han awarded them the Best Couple award at the 2021 KBS Drama Awards.

Praises and recognition were given to the young actress for her energetic performance in the drama. However, the actress revealed that she's more of the reserved type of girl.
"I needed to become energetic to play the role of Jin Ji Won, so a personality change was a pivotal thing," the actress shared.
Despite their differences, the actress completely resonates with Jin Ji Won, saying, "Jin Ji Won and I are both certain about our dreams. We will do anything to achieve our dreams, even if it means sacrificing other things for it."
Cho Yi Hyun Dreams of Becoming a Musical Actress
The actress dreamed of being a musical actress after seeing the popular musical "Wicked." She shared that her parents never looked down on her dreams, and even supported her on her auditions in school.
"There are things that I was lacking. I couldn't dance, act or sing so I ranked no. 38 in the practical examinations," Cho Yi Hyun said, "But I worked really hard, placing second in the next exams."
The actress concluded by saying, "I'd like to thank everyone for supporting me throughout the drama. I will work even harder and come back as an improved Cho Yi Hyun."
