Ahead of the much-anticipated premiere of JTBC's "Forecasting Love and Weather," lead star Park Min Young confessed the struggles she experienced while doing the project.
'Forecasting Love and Weather' is the Most Challenging Drama for Park Min Young
In a media interview report released on January 25, Park Min Young shared her thoughts on working in "Forecasting Love and Weather."
The actress gets honest that her upcoming romance drama is the most difficult project among the series she worked in before. She further explained that the theme of "Forecasting Love and Weather" is not easy to do. She did lots of studying, from devices used, terms and other things that involved weather forecasting.
Park Min Young takes the role of Jin Ha Kyung, a forecaster of the Meteorological Administration Department. She is the leader of division 2, who interprets and analyzes small probabilities of the changing weather.

Park Min Young Shares How She Prepared for Upcoming Romance Drama 'Forecasting Love and Weather'
The "City Hunter" star stated that it felt new to her to be able to work with the background of Meteorology. She easily gets attracted to the unique concept. However, she also had a dilemma of doing the project for it will be her first time trying a new genre that is not yet featured in the previous dramas.
She mentioned that the first step is always the hardest and maybe if she puts more effort, everything will be easier after. Park Min Young confessed that she had difficulty collecting information because sources are hard to access. What she did was Min Young tried to look for videos online and watched documentaries to feed her knowledge about the drama that she is about to do. The 35-year-old actress shared that she also struggled with knowing the terms used in the field.
Some of her co-stars even had the same struggle as her and jokingly said that medical drama is much easier to do.
Park Min Young hopes that the viewers will enjoy the series because everyone worked hard to study every detail in the drama in order to bring new information to the public. The female celebrity added she wished "Forecasting Love and Weather" will remain a good work as much as she both struggled and enjoyed the process of working on the project.
"Forecasting Love and Weather" to have its world premiere this coming February 12 at 10:30 p.m. (KST) and can be streamed on Netflix and JTBC. The series will have its regular broadcast every Saturday and Sunday.
