Following their newfound fame, "All of Us Are Dead" lead stars Cho Yi Hyun and Yoon Chan Young are caught up in a controversy.
The Netflix series took the world by storm after topping the charts after its global premiere. With this, cast members, including Cho Yi Hyun and Yoon Chan Young, reached overnight success after gaining the public's attention.
Yoon Chan Young Under Fire for School Bullying and Misogyny
The 20-year-old actor has been receiving criticisms after a post resurfaced involving the "All of Us Are Dead" star as one of the culprits.
In the said post initially shared in 2016, the then-newcomer and three of his male friends made a list ranking their female classmates and teachers according to standards.
Moreover, the post mentioned that this was during the last year of middle school.
"The girls were ranked according to various standards. Our ethics teacher told the culprits to come out and told them to face the wall standing after a few minutes. The culprits are Park Juhyung, Im Sehyun, Yoon Chan Young, and Hong Jipyo. Yes, the child actor Yoon Chan Young," the post reads.
In addition, the online post allegedly contained an apology letter that the accuser received from nonetheless Yoon Chan Young.
The letter states that it was just part of a joke, but they knew they crossed the line and apologized.
"As the head, I really regret not stopping them and even doing it with them and I'm sorry about it. I won't do it next time. I'm really sorry. Please give me a chance just this time.

Yoon Chan Young is one of the lead stars in Netflix's "All of Us Are Dead" who took the role of third-year student Lee Cheong San.
Is Cho Yi Hyun a Chaebol's Daughter?
Apart from the 20-year-old actor, his co-star Cho Yi Hyun is caught up in a different rumor.
It came after the "Hospital Playlist" actress shared a photo on social media while inside a luxury apartment.
With this, eagle-eyed fans speculated that the rising star was born with a silver spoon.
Interestingly, rumor sparked that she is a chaebol's daughter noting that her father is a CEO of a large Seoul-based company.
Moreover, various outlets also cited that the said property is at the Mark Hills apartment in Cheongdam, valued at 8 billion KRW or 6,700,000 USD.
However, the actress immediately set the record straight and denied the allegations.
On Cho Yi Hyun's Instagram story, she wrote, "It's not my house, it's XX's," adding that the photo was taken in September 2020.
The 22-year-old actress played the role of junior high school class president Choi Nam Ra in "All of Us Are Dead."
Prior to the Netflix K-zombie series, she is best known as medical intern Jang Yoon Bok in "Hospital Playlist."
Following this, she also appeared as one of the main cast in KBS' "School 2021."
