"A Business Proposal" is based on the web novel of the same name, which is adapted into a webtoon as well, depicts the chaotic romance between boss-employee Kang Tae Mu (Ahn Hyo Seop) and Shin Ha Ri (Kim Sejeong), who go on a blind date, not knowing that they see each other at work everyday.
Kim Sejeong stars as Shin Ha Ri, a food researcher employee at the hot bachelor CEO Kang Tae Mu's company, played by Ahn Hyo Seop.
On the other hand, the drama stars Yoon Sang Jung as Hye Ji, Shin Ha Ri's coworkers. She is a development employee in the food company, who has an assertive and firm personality.

However, the production unit of the drama decided to push the release to a much later date in order to ensure the cast and crew's safety amid the threatening COVID-19.
"A Business Proposal" airs for the first time on February 28 at 10:00 p.m. KST on SBS TV. For international fans, the drama will be available on Netflix with English subtitles.
