'The Red Sleeve Cuff' Online Fan Meet Accumulated 30,000 Fans
Even MBC's "The Red Sleeve Cuff" series has ended for a month already, its popularity is inevitable. It was in the last week of January where media reported that Lee Junho, Lee Se Young, and Kang Hoon were confirmed to attend the first-ever virtual fan meet with Tawainese fans.
The virtual event happened on February 13 at MBC headquarters in Sangam-dong Seoul. The 2PM member made the Taiwanese fans excited by greeting them in "Happy New Year, be healthy, and I miss you all" in their own language.
In particular, the event which was held through the live broadcast of friDay video, the largest OTT platform in Taiwan, was watched by 30,000 friDay members. There were also more than 30 media present including Taiwan's four major daily newspapers, Taiwan's major broadcasters, and other online media during the online event.

The huge number of viewers proved the popularity of the drama and its cast. Lee Se Young, Lee Junho, and Kang Hoon who attended the event had a special time communicating with their Taiwanese fans.

When Taiwanese fans asked for impromptu acting, on screen partners Junho and Se Young gave their best shot in re-enacting their scenes when Deok Im could not tell Yi San that he loved him. As expected, the two received great cheers from the fans.
Meanwhile, the biggest OTT platform in Taiwan, friDay opened a group chat where fans can freely give their comments and send messages regarding the cast and the drama. Some of them said, "I started watching TRSC again," "Junho's Chinese is cute," "It's touching to see all three actors enjoying themselves with their fans," and more.
"The Red Sleeve Cuff" succeeded in occupying the No.1 spot for three months on friDay, which is servicing more than two million firms, dramas, and other international entertainment shows from abroad including the US, Korea, and Japan.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung Won, CEO of the company who hosted the event mentioned again that the Taiwanese friDay side actively requested to meet the three drama stars since "The Red Sleeve Cuff" gained massive popularity in Taiwan.
