Park Min Young's New Drama 'Forecasting Love and Weather'
As the viewers wait for her upcoming series "Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday," the 35-year-old actress is currently starring in JTBC's "Forecasting Love and Weather."
Park Min Young took on the role of general forecaster Jin Ha Kyung. In the drama, he keeps her personal and professional life private; this is after she dated her co-worker Han Ki Joon, played by Yoon Park, for ten years.
Due to her failed romance, Jin Ha Kyung prefers having few friends and becomes the office's "outsider by choice" because of her cold personality.
During the "Forecasting Love and Weather" press conference, director Cha Young Hoon, who also helmed "Uncontrollably Fond" and "When the Camellia Blooms," he lauded the Hallyu star for her charm and skills as an actor as well as the on-screen chemistry with Song Kang.
Moreover, the director also explained that he focused on her "deep and innate loveliness."
As for the actress, she details her thoughts about the Kdrama, noting that the script "feels fresh" and unique.
In addition, she also expressed the challenges she encountered, especially the "terminology and pattern of speech," but she now finds it "fun" adding "as I did my homework, I felt proud of myself. Now I don't get irritated when I watch the weather forecast."
Interestingly, "Forecasting Love and Weather" is Park Min Young's third office-romance series.
To recall, her first was the blockbuster Kdrama "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" alongside Park Seo Joo, where she played the young CEO's assistant.
The series was followed by another boss-employee type of Kdrama "When the Weather Is Fine," together with Seo Kang Joon.
