According to FlixPatrol, a website that provides streaming ratings and VOD charts, "Love and Leashes" is now Netflix's sixth most-watched movie, next to the dark sci-fi comedy "Big Bug."

Meanwhile, the British true-crime documentary "The Tinder Swindler" held the top spot for weeks, solidifying its dominance in the daily chart.

"Love and Leashes" follows the story of two colleagues named Jung Ji Woo (Seohyun) and Jung Ji Hoo (Lee Jun Young).

The fun part starts after Ji Woo accidentally receives a package intended for her senior. To his surprise, Ji Hoo found out that she had already taken a peek at the mysterious parcel, which happens to be a kinky BDSM toy.

SCMP gave the K-movie 3 out 5 score, praising Seohyun and Lee Jun Young for "delivering sweet and wholesome performances."

The rom-com movie received a 90 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, with one of the reviews describing "Love and Leashes" as "a refreshing exploration of the BDSM community."

On the other hand, a media outlet cited the fans' response to Seouhyun's debut movie, pointing out how it might affect her image.

"Isn't it because she is trying to get rid of her idol image?" A netizen mentioned.
