Former THE BOYZ member Hur Hyun Jun (formerly known mononymously as Hwall) joins a new agency! The solo artist is now ready to take on new challenges as an actor with the help of his new agency.

Former THE BOYZ Member Hur Hyun Jun Signs Contract With Park Bo Gum's Label

On February 18, Blossom Entertainment officially announced that former idol Hur Hyun Jun had signed an exclusive contract with the agency.

After debuting as a member of THE BOYZ in 2017 as Hwall, he left the group in 2019 to focus on his health.

As a new member of the Blossom family, he would now be going by the screen name Hyun Jun.

The agency stated, "We welcome Hyun Jun, a skilled artist in terms of singing, dancing and acting, as the newest member of our family."

"We promise to do our best in managing him so that we can nurture his various talents, and he can be more active in many different fields," they added.

Blossom Entertainment currently houses top notch artists including "Love in the Moonlight" actor Park Bo Gum, "Police University" actor Cha Tae Hyun, "Because This is My First Life" star Jung So Min, child actress Kim Su An of "Train to Busan" and more.

Through "Blossom Entertainment," Hyun Jun is expected to be given the chance to appear in many variety shows and television dramas while simultaneously nurturing his singing career.

After parting ways with his beloved group, THE BOYZ, due to his medical condition, Hyun Jun (then mononymously known as Hwall) focused more on improving his health.

He hadn't been seen in the spotlight not until 2021. In the past year, Hyun Jun released his self-composed tracks entitled "Baragi" and "VO!D."

Fans and fellow The Bs (THE BOYZ's Official Fandom Name) supported Hyun Jun's solo career with the same enthusiasm and mirth.

In the same year, he headlined the BL (Boys' Love) coming-of-age fantasy romance drama "Color Rush," both in series and movie formats.

"Color Rush" centers around the eccentric people called "Mono" who live in a world where they can't see any colors other than gray, black and white.

But their fate can change as they are fated to "Probes," the people who can trigger their" gray-scale worlds to produce color, inducing "Color Rush."

It's a love story between two confused people who both live in a confusing, colorless world but eventually find comfort in each other.

"Color Rush" earned critical acclaim from fans outside South Korea, and praised both actors Hyun and Yoo Jun, who delivered great performances as rookie stars.
