"All of Us Are Dead" star Yoo In Soo is savoring his newfound fame after landing the villain role in Netflix's K-zombie series.
In the 12-episode thriller, the rookie actor took on the character of Yoon Gwi Nam, Hyosan High School's most notorious bully.
Probably one of the most hated villains in K-drama 2022, the 25-year-old actor impressed the viewers with his skills and how he fully immersed himself in the character.
Yoo In Soo on His Popularity
In his recent interview, the newcomer admitted that he was surprised with the amount of support he got after the K-drama was released.
Premiered on January 28, "All of Us Are Dead" gained massive popularity not only in South Korea but globally. It remained Netflix's top TV show for weeks and is currently the most-watched non-English tv show for three consecutive weeks.
With this, the cast members, including the 25-year-old newcomer, received overwhelming support from viewers.

Yoo In Soo's Instagram followers increased 30 times, jumping from 40,000 to 1.4 million as of this writing. He said that he never imagined anything like this and expressed his deep gratitude to fans and viewers.
Moreover, he also mentioned that he "felt really good" knowing that the public enjoyed his work.
Yoo In Soo on His Most Memorable Kdrama
Apart from "All of Us Are Dead" Yoo In Soo appeared in a slew of notable dramas.
Debuting in 2017, he first joined the cast of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," alongside Park Bo Young, Park Hyung Sik and Kim Ji Soo, where he played a supporting character.
Meanwhile, his first movie was in Kang Ha Neul's thriller film "Forgotten."
As his interview continued, he spoke about his past and how he started out as an actor.
He revealed that being an actor was his lifelong dream and recalled how he wanted to be a part of the industry when he was in high school as some of his classmates were also trying their luck as an actor.
However, things were not easy for Yoo In Soo. he shared how his parents initially opposed him wanting to try acting.
Yoo In Soo Drops His Most Memorable K-drama
Apart from "All of Us Are Dead" of course, Yoo In Soo revealed his most unforgettable Kdramas since he starred in showbiz.
According to the actor, it was "Reply 1988," "Running Man" and "Crisis Escape No. 1."
He mentioned that he participated in one of the episodes of "Crisis Escape No. 1" adding that people around him were excited that he appeared on TV.
Dishing out his experience, he mentioned that every moment at the variety show "was just amazing and fun," he said.
Interestingly, Yoo In Soo also expressed his desire to appear in "Running Man" noting that it is a program that he really wanted to become part of.
As for his upcoming projects, the rookie actor is rumored to join the cast of "Return" an action fantasy Kdrama starring Lee Jae Wook and Jung So Min.
