From being an established actor in South Korea, Lee Jung Jae is stepping up a notch as he conquers Hollywood. The "Squid Game" star has officially teamed up with America's most prominent entertainment agency, Creative Artists Agency!

Lee Jung Jae Now Labelmates With Brad Pitt and Meryl Streep

In a report cited by JTBC News, his local agency, Artist Company, announced the actor's latest achievement.

According to his management, the "Chief of Staff" star "has signed a contract with CAA, one of the three major agencies in the United States."

CAA is known for housing the biggest names in sports and Hollywood; this includes Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, award-winning director Steven Spielberg and more.

Lee Jung Jae is among the household names in South Korea and has an accolade of achievements under his belt- a five-time Baeksang Arts winner, 3 Blue Dragon Film Awards, 2 Grand Bell Awards and more.

Interestingly, he is not the only "Squid Game" cast who is under the top-tier label.

In November 2021, Deadline cited that the 27-year-old newcomer has signed with CAA and continues to be represented by her local label, Saram Entertainment.

Her agency in South Korea also confirmed the news noting that they have "decided to team up with the Creative Artists Agency for Jung Ho Yeon's global activities."

At the time, the media outlet also shared that the renowned American agency is "trying to land Lee Jung Jae and her co-stars as well as the Netflix series' writer-director, Hwang Dong Hyuk" marking their first agency in Hollywood.

'Squid Game' Stars Return to U.S. for SAG Awards 2022

The team of the Netflix series continues to rake recognitions overseas. Their latest is the SAG Awards 2022, where they earned four nods.

The survival-themed game K-drama was nominated for Ensemble in a Drama Series, Best Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series, Best Actor and Best Actress category.

Netflix confirmed that "Squid Game" cast Lee Jung Jae, Park Hae Soo, Jung Ho Yeon, Kim Joo Ryoung, Anupam Tripathi, together with director Hwang Dong Hyuk will be attending the prestigious ceremony.

Unfortunately, ​​Golden Globes winner Oh Young Soo, Wi Ha Joon and "Squid Game" villains Heo Sung Tae won't be joining the annual ceremony due to overlapping schedules.

SAG Awards 2022 will be held on February 27 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
