Lee Byung Hun Donates Generous Amount to Relieve Disaster Victims
On Friday, March 4, 2022, a huge wildfire began on the mountain near the seaside town of Uljin in North Gyeongsang Province.
It spread to the city of Samcheok in Gangwon Province, creating a mass destruction that took down hundreds of homes.
On March 6, actor Lee Byung Hun shows his generosity and makes a donation of 100 million KRW (approximately 82,200 USD).

The money will be used mainly towards shelter and emergency relief for the victims from Uljin and Samcheol who are affected by forest fires.
After hearing that more than hundreds of homes had been lost to the fire, Lee Byung Hun immediately donated to ease the worries of the residents suffering from such damage, especially in the pandemic.
Fellow actors Kim Go Eun, Song Kang Ho and Girl's Day Hyeri also donated to support the victims of the wildfire.

Coupled up with brilliant actress Shin Min Ah, the two prepare for the first broadcast of the omnibus-style romance drama "Our Blues."

It depicts the bittersweet romance and melancholic stories of characters in Jeju Island. The drama stars Lee Byung Hun as Lee Dong Suk, a man born and raised in Jeju Island who sells trucks to make ends meet.
Opposite Shin Min Ah who plays the role of Min Sun Ah, a woman who comes to Jeju Island while harboring a secret.
"Our Blues" also stars Kim Woo Bin, Han Ji Min, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun and Uhm Jung Hwa. It is a 20-part drama that intricately portrays the lives of people in the heart of Jeju.
It premieres on Saturday, April 9 at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN.
Lee Byung Hun Upcoming Films
Lee Byung Hun will also headline the upcoming disaster film "Concrete Utopia," along with Park Seo Joon and Park Bo Young.
"Concrete Utopia" tells the stories of earthquake survivors in Seoul. Produced by Lotte Entertainment, the webtoon-based film is slated to air in theaters nationwide sometime in 2022.
The actor is also set to decorate films "Emergency Declaration," "The Match," and "I Believe In A Thing Called Love."
