APINK's Eunji is starring in multiple series this 2022-the latest is with OCN's K-drama "Blind" with 2PM's Taecyeon.
After months of discussion, the singer-actress officially confirmed her appearance for the upcoming mystery-thriller series.
APINK Eunji Transforms Into Dedicated Social Worker in OCN's 'Blind'
In a report cited by Osen, APINK Eunji's agency, IST Entertainment, made the announcement noting that the 28-year-old beauty "has been cast as Jo Eun Gi," a dedicated social worker.
Joining her are 2PM's Taecyeon and Ha Seok Jin, who previously confirmed their appearance.
In January 2022, OCN officially announced the duo as the lead stars for their upcoming K-drama, as cited by Newsen.
Helmed by "Tunnel" and "Voice 4" director Shin Yong Hwi and penned by Keun Ki Kyung, the screenwriter behind the rom-com "Andante," "Blind" focuses on detectives, law school students, jurors and judges and the ordinary people who were victimized by their perpetrators.
The forthcoming series will highlight the injustice and how one chose to ignore the truth.
Interestingly, fans would get to see the trio's synergy as "Blind" is slated to air in the second half of the year via OCN.
APINK's Eunji on 'Work Later, Drink Now Season 2'
As mentioned, the singer-actress is set to appear in multiple projects this 2022.
Apart from her team up with Ok Taecyeon and Ha Seok Jin, APINK's Eunji will also reprise her role as Kang Ji Goo in "Work Later, Drink Now Season 2."
To recall, TVING officially announced that the comedy K-drama would return for a sequel.

As cited by Sports Chosun, the broadcast network shared that they have "prepared season 2 quickly at the same time as the drama ended."
In addition, TVING also hints at the possible plot of the much-awaited season 2, revealing that the sequel "will be a relatable and heartwarming drama about longtime friends and drinking buddies with quirky chemistry."
"Work Later, Drink Now" is based on the webtoon of the same name that highlights the story of three best friends whose life revolves around drinking and having fun after work.
APINK's Eunji took on the role of origami YouTuber Kang Ji Goo; Lee Sun Bin portrayed variety show writer Ahn So Hee, while Han Sun Hwa played a yoga instructor named Han Ji Yeon.
Joining them is Choi Siwon as the variety show PD Kang Book Goo.
Interestingly, the APINK member spoke about her similarities with her "Work Later, Drink Now" character.
During her appearance in SBS's "My Little Old Boy," Jung Eun Ji mentioned that friendship is significant to her, like Kang Ji Goo.
However, when it comes to drinking, she shared that Ji Goo has much higher alcohol tolerance than her, adding, "she's the kind that once she opens a bottle, she'll drink until she can't count the number of bottles on her fingers."
Although the comedy-drama has confirmed its season 2, the official release date has yet to be announced.
