'Twenty Five, Twenty One' Episode 5: Na Hee Do Takes One Leap Closer to Her Dreams

In episode 5, Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri) prepares to compete for a spot in the national fencing team with the help of Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk).

She gives away one of her swords to show her appreciation. With determination, Hee Do's efforts paid off as she made it to the team after winning 15 gruesome matches.

Hee Do eagerly looks for Yi Jin to break the great news but to her horror, Yi Jin leaves the town without a trace.

She is welcomed by her sword, the one she gave Yi Jin, at home with the man's handwriting that reads "National Team Member Na Hee Do."

On the other hand, things get more awkward for Hee Do and Yu Rim (Bona), who's a gold medalist and a member of the national team.

The two clash more often but Hee Do didn't mind, and practiced for three long months.

Yi Jin also thrives to be better after reuniting with her mother and brother. He works as a fish vendor to make ends meet.

With so much longing for one another, Hee Do and Yi Jin leave voice mails through their beepers and pagers, and listens to it to re-energize after a long day's work.

'Twenty Five, Twenty One' Episode 6: Hee Do and Yi Jin Finally Meet Again

The annual Asian Games is approaching, adding pressure to the fencing team. Due to this, Hee Do and Yu Rim fight each other more brutally.

Meanwhile, Yi Jin returns to Seoul with a new goal: to become a news reporter. While covering an uprising about workers' wages, he suddenly sees Hee Do in the sea of people.

Luckily, Yi Jin is sent to cover the fencing match that includes Hee Do and Yu Rim. While doing his job, he quietly roots for Hee Do to bag the gold.

Before the finals, Hee Do mistakenly swaps her swords, especially the one with Yi Jin's handwriting, with her previous competitor.

Without thinking twice, Hee Do goes to Gyeongju to retrieve her swords. Yi Jin drives his sports car to fetch the fencer just in time for her competition.

Before her final match with Yu Rim, Hee Do is reminded of the reason why she pursued fencing: her beloved father.

She's determined to win against a gold medalist and make her father proud. Apart from coach Yang (Kim Hye Eun) and Yi Jin, no one seems to believe in her skills and talents, which tears her apart.

Her match with Yu Rim is agonizingly painful and thrilling at the same time, but she achieves her goals and succeeds.

With Yu Rim's loss, the whole media and nation were shaken. News coverage focused on how the gold medal was "stolen" from the fencer, referring to Hee Do's win as a "referee's bad call."

Hee Do and Yu Rim once again fought one another, and were both reprimanded and punished. Yi Jin chases after the referee who stands between the two fencers, and convinces him to clarify things about the match.

Yi Jin interviews the referee and releases it to the public in hopes to ease the tension. Meanwhile, Hee Do spends the night in school and learns about Yi Jin's past relationships.

'Twenty Five, Twenty One' Episode 8: Hee Do Learns About Injeolmi's Identity

Yi Jin returns to the neighborhood. The gang including Hee Do, Yu Rim, Seung Wan (Lee Joo Myung) and Ji Woong (Choi Hyun Wook) help him move back into his previous residence.

Hee Do stresses about Yi Jin's past relationships, especially after seeing a photo strip of him with another girl.

While helping Yi Jin unbox, Hee Do and Yu Rim set their differences aside and try to be civil with one another.

Unbeknownst to them, Yu Rim endures her family's situation that greatly affects her status in fencing. Yi Jin, who's doing great in his new job as a reporter, fails to deliver his news properly.

Moreover, Hee Do feels distant to the man despite his much awaited return. She then pours out her feelings to her beloved online friend Injeolmi, who invites her to meet.

They agreed to meet and reveal themselves. To spot each other quickly, they bring a yellow rose for each other.

Shocked to see Hee Do, her online friend Ryder37, Yu Rim shoves the yellow rose to Yi Jin's hands and hides.

Hee Do sees Yi Jin and instantly concludes that her friend and Yi Jin are the same person.
