Hosted by Taye Diggs and Nicole Byer, this year's ceremony kicked off on March 13 at Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. The 27th annual Critics Choice Awards honored the best in television and film as voted by the members of the association.

Jung Ho Yeon, who played North Korean defector player 067 Kang Sae Byeok, lit the night donning a sparkly gold dress from Louis Vuitton.
The rookie actress paid tribute to the 17th-century French noblewoman with her lampshade dress from the brand's Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Capping off her retro look, Jung Ho Yeon wore Louis Vuitton jewelry and paired it with strappy black sandals to tone the look.
In their interview with Access Hollywood, the runway model and actress called her red carpet look a "don't come near me" outfit.
As for the gentlemen, Lee Jung Jae and Park Hae Soo walked the Critics Choice Awards 2022 red carpet looking sleek and dapper with the classic black tuxedo and bow tie. Meanwhile, "Squid Game" director Hwang Dong Hyuk opted for a simple and relaxed gray-toned suit.

In the same interview, the 50-year-old director shared his thoughts about another nod for "Squid Game."
Hwang Dong Hyuk says he is "so grateful" for being recognized and considered as this year's nominee.
Moreover, he added that the feeling is "incredibly rewarding" and "exciting," especially since all four of them are reunited for a special event.
For the 27th Critics Choice Awards, the Netflix series scored three nods, which includes Best Foreign Language Series and Best Drama Series alongside "Evil," "For All Mankind," "The Good Fight," "Pose," HBO's "Succession," "This Is Us," and "Yellowjackets."

Lee Jung Jae is also nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series together with Sterling K. Brown from "This Is Us," "Evil" stars Mike Colter, Billy Porter of "Pose," Brian Cox and Jeremy Strong for the black comedy-drama "Succession."
Apart from the nods, the "Squid Game" stars will also present the awards at the Critics Choice Awards 2022.
How 'Squid Game' Dominates Hollywood
So far, the Netflix series is raking recognitions left and right from various ceremonies.
Prior to the 27th Critics Choice Awards, "Squid Game" took home Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for Lee Jung Jae's stellar performance as the debt-ridden Seong Gi Hoon. Jung Ho Yeon won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.
Apart from it, the 9-part episode series scored a record-breaking win at the 79th Golden Globe Awards. Veteran actor Oh Young Soo becomes the first South Korean actor to win Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes.
