In an exclusive report cited by Star News, the 41-year-old versatile actress might be among the actors who are set to appear in "Sweet Home" season 2.

Although it did not include what character she is offered to play, Kim Shin Rok will once again show off her flexibility as an actress.

To recall, she surprised the viewers after portraying Park Jung Ja in Netflix's "Hellbound." The show stars Yoo Ah In, Kim Hyun Joo, Yang Ik Jun, and more.

The actress delivered a show-stopping performance after a doting mother of two and a sinner became a sacrificial lamb to the mysterious creatures.

From being a disgraced sinner in "hellbound," Kim Shin Rok stunned viewers with her transformation as elite prosecutor Ahn Tae Hee in Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won's thriller mystery K-drama "One Ordinary Day."

Aside from her rumored appearance in "Sweet Home 2," Kim Shin Rok is confirmed to join the cast of Song Joong Ki's K-drama comeback "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate." She is also joining the webtoon based series "Moving" with Jo In Sung, Han Hyo Joo, and "Miracle in Cell No. 7" star Ryu Seung Ryong.

'Sweet Home 2': What We Know So Far About the Netflix Series

There is no denying that "Sweet Home," which stars Song Kang, Lee Do Hyun, Lee Jin Wook and more, is among the most popular K-dramas released by Netflix.

Fans are hopeful that the post-apocalyptic series will return for a second season.

Interestingly, JTBC News shared that the 10-part episode series will get renewed.

At the time, the outlet mentioned Lee Si Young and Park Gyu Young would reprise their characters. The two actresses appeared in season 1. They played the badass firefighter Seo Yi Kyung and 20-year-old bassist Yoon Ji Su.

However, a representative from Netflix shared that "nothing had been decided regarding the drama's production."

Following the rumored "Sweet Home 2" cast , Song Kang's agency Namoo Actors confirmed that the "Navillera" star had received a casting offer to reprise his role.

"It is true that we are in discussions about it, but nothing has been confirmed yet," his label shared as noted by Star Today.

As the fans eagerly wait for the official lineup of "Sweet Home" season 2 cast, B1A4's Jinyoung and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" star Oh Jung Se are reportedly joining the second season.

In a press conference, "Sweet Home," director Lee Eung-bok previously mentioned the possibility of welcoming a new cast as well as tweaking the plot through the villains.

"If the opportunity arises, we want to also introduce the monsters that we weren't able to."
