Many were surprised after Netflix dropped a sneak peek at Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Yeop's upcoming drama, "The Sound of Magic."
Netflix to Premiere 'The Sound of Magic' in May
Korean stars Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Yeop are finally coming for their new series, "The Sound of Magic." It will air this year.
Netflix released the first-ever drama poster alongside its confirmed premiere date on May 6.
The simple yet mysterious invitation on the poster is sent by Lee Eul (Ji Chang Wook). It gave excitement to viewers. He is the new character to look forward to. Lee Eul makes his neighbors curious about his real identity and why he lives alone and peacefully at the amusement park.
He then meets Yoon Ai (Choi Sung Eun) and Na Il Deung (Hwang In Yeop). He introduces himself as a magician and gives the two strangers a special moment of a lifetime. Though the two were not kids anymore and had their own choices in life, the poster hints at the amazing moments to come to them. The light shines from the poster and a message that asks "Do you believe in magic?"
"The Sound of Magic" is based on the webtoon series "Annarasumanara" penned by Ha Il Kwon. The novel was serialized in 2010 under Naver Webtoon and will be produced into a drama.

In the drama adaptation, the ever-talented director Kim Sung Yoon who made such drama masterpieces as "Love in the Moonlight," "Itaewon Class," and "Discovery of Love" will collaborate with scriptwriter Kim Min Jung. The two focus on the musical elements in the series and they also put some twists before the drama ends.
Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Yeop Are Busy for New Projects
Apart from their forthcoming Netflix series, "The Sound of Magic" cast are also busy working on their new confirmed dramas.
Starting from K-hottie, Ji Chang Wook currently films his series "Tell Me Your Wish" alongside SNSD's Sooyoung and veteran actor Sung Dong-Il. A new heartthrob in K-town Hwang In Yeop made a huge success with his previous series such as "18 Again" and "True Beauty" which opened lots of doors for the rising star.
He is gearing up for his first-drama lead role in "Why Oh Soo Jae" alongside Bae In Hyuk and Seo Hyun Jin. The series is expected to meet the viewers this year.
Choi Sung Eun, a newbie in the industry and captivated the viewers with her talent and charm in "Beyond Evil," will return and work with Ji Chang Wook.
