MBC released new still cuts featuring Kim Hee Sun and SF9 Rowoon's character in the upcoming action fantasy K-drama "Tomorrow."

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the series follows the story of angels of death, a.k.a the grim reapers whose goal is to save suicidal people.

'Tomorrow' Teasers Shows Kim Hee Sun's first Encounter With SF9 Rowoon

Over the broadcast network's official Instagram, it hints at Rowoon's character, who took on the role of college graduate Choi Joon Woong, gets involved in a devastating situation after he unexpectedly encounters an accident.

One teaser featured Choi Joon Woong lying in bed unconscious, while the other showed he is completely awake; however, his expressions suggest that he feels troubled or confused about what is happening.

Due to the accident, his soul got separated from his body. This is also why Goo Ryun, played by Kim Hee Sun, was standing right in front of him, harboring a poker face expression.

Interestingly, as MBC unveiled new teasers, fans couldn't wait as they expressed their excitement about the forthcoming series.

Cast, Release Date and Where to Watch 'Tomorrow?'

In the upcoming action-fantasy series, Rowoon's character struggles to land a decent job after graduating from college.

After getting caught up in an accident, he meets grim reapers Goo Ryun and Lim Ryoong Goo, members of the Crisis Management Team who help those who are contemplating suicide.

Following his encounter with the angels of death, he was recruited to join their team and become their youngest member.

On the other hand, the underworld also has a Guiding Management Team headed by Park Joong Gil, portrayed by Lee Soo Hyuk.

Unlike Goo Ryung's group, the Guiding Management Team doesn't allow grim reapers to intervene in the lives of humans. They see their suicide and these unfortunate events as a decision chosen by humans.

Joining the "Tomorrow" cast is the veteran actress Kim Hae Sook, who played the chairwoman, Jade Emperor.

In addition, rookie actress Moon Seo Youn and Kim Chae Eun will join as supporting characters, while the "Miracle Cell in No.7" star Gal So Won will play as the young Kim Hee Sun in the upcoming drama.

As the MBC drama gears up for the much-awaited debut of "Tomorrow," SF9 Rowoon's new drama will premiere on April 1 through MBC and Netflix, airing every Friday and Saturday.

According to a Korean media outlet, the singer-actor delivered not just a stellar performance but also did some adlibs.

He explained that both director and writer wanted to include witty and entertaining elements to portray Choi Joon Woong. As a result, he delivered lines that were not actually on the script but was able to pull it off and appeared naturally.
