Joo Woon, Moon Chae Won's 'Good Doctor' To Be Remade In Several Countries
On Saturday, April 2, it was reported that the popular medical drama "Good Doctor" starring Joo Won and Moon Chae Won has been chosen for a remake in 10 more countries.
Joo Won and Moon Chae Won's "Good Doctor" depicts the inspiring story of a man who dreams of becoming a surgeon despite being diagnosed with autism.
He overcomes his inhibitions and worries, and faces difficulties life brings in front of him. He also proves that despite his condition, he's still a reliable doctor in the field.
The original version of the drama with a total of 20 episodes was in South Korean, produced and released by broadcast giant KBS in 2013.
Sterling actors Joo Won and Moon Chae Won played the roles of Park Si On and Cha Yoon Seo, respectively.
The report regarding the remake of the drama hasn't been confirmed yet. Once it was approved, the "Good Doctor" will be remade in countries such Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and more.
'Good Doctor' US Remake To Release Sixth Season
Unbeknownst to many, "Good Doctor" had already been remade in the United States, Japan and Turkey.
Like its original version, the remade dramas were well-received by the viewers, who supported the shows from the very beginning.
The US version of the series was ultimately popularized after being taken up by ABC Network, following its release on Netflix.

It stars actor Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy. The "Good Doctor" has already five seasons in its filmography, with the sixth and latest season coming in the second half of 2022.

The actor is courted by director Kwak Jeong Hwan, who made dramas "The K2" and "Miss Hammurabi," to lead his forthcoming drama "Milju."
"Milju" depicts an exhilarating chase between bloody and goal-scoring organizations over alcohol in the Joseon Dynasty.

"No Kids," also known as "We Grow Up, revolves around the story of a single father who keeps his daughter a secret from his high school sweetheart.
When they meet again, he discovers that his ex-lover isn't interested in dating anyone with children.
