IU Rejects To Appear in Screenwriter Park Ji Eun's New Drama
On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, "Hotel del Luna" actress IU was reported to star in a new drama written by Park Ji Eun.
Park Ji Eun created the masterpieces "My Love From the Star," "The Producers," "The legend of the Blue Sea" and "Crash Landing on You."
In the following day, EDAM Entertainment, IU's agency, clarified that IU was truly offered a role in the drama. However, she respectfully rejected the offer due to personal reasons.
Park Ji Eun's new drama is centered around the story of a conglomerate. If IU took the offer, she would assume the role of a performer.
The new drama will be directed by producing director Lee Eung Bok, the man behind "Goblin" and "Jirisan."

The star-studded cast of "Dream" continues its filming to deliver a worthwhile movie experience with beautiful elements and backdrops.

"Dreams" revolve around the story of a soccer player, Yoon Hong Dae (Park Seo Joon). Due to an unexpected case, he is sent to disciplinary actions which landed him the job to become a coach for a national coach for a special national soccer team. They will compete in the Homeless World Cup.
The "Hotel Del Luna" actress IU portrays the role of Lee So Min, a producing director. She dreams of finding success through a documentary pertaining to Hong Dae's soccer team.
"Extreme Job" director Lee Byung Hun guides the flow of the work and actors, and Megabox Plus M will distribute the film.

The year 2022 has IU booked and busy! Besides "Dream," she is also set to appear in the melodrama film "Broker" along with Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won, Bae Doona and more.
"Broker" depicts the story of an empty space called "baby box" where parents can leave their babies anonymously.
