Lee Moo Saeng dishes out his experience and thoughts about the possibility of "Thirty-Nine" returning for season 2.
The 41-year-old actor gained praise from viewers for perfectly portraying the role of Jeon Mi Do's lover, Kim Ji Seok, in the JTBC melodrama.
However, despite delivering a unique storyline and impressive cast lineup, "Thirty-NIne" was embroiled in controversy.

In an exclusive interview with Star Today, Lee Moo Saeng was asked regarding sentiment about the controversy surrounding the melodrama series.
As an actor, he shared that his character is someone who is caught up in a very complicated situation but knows the "borderline between right and wrong."
To recall, "Thirty-Nine" was criticized for romanticizing extramarital affairs after Lee Moo Saeng's role was having a relationship with Jung Chan Young, played by Jeon Mi Do.

However, the latter part of the K-drama revealed the deeper scenario between the two and what prompted Kim Jin Seok to marry his wife.

The 41-year-old star was also asked if there's anything he wants to change with the finale and what it would be.
Lee Moo Saeng mentioned the part where Jung Chan Young died. For him, her death is one of the most heartbreaking parts of the series. He jokingly said that he was not satisfied with the finale.
However, the death of the lead character highlighted the precious moments between the trio and her relationship with her parents and Jin Seok.
Interestingly, Lee Moo Saeng mentioned that if given a chance for "Thirty-Nine" to return for the second season, he wants Jeon Mi Do's character to be reincarnated.
He said, "If "Thirty-Nine" season 2 comes out, I hope Chan Young comes back as a reincarnation."
The Wednesday and Thursday series captured the hearts of viewers for illustrating the deep friendship between Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin,) Jang Jo Hee (Kim Ji Hyun), and Jung Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do.)
"Thirty-Nine" also featured the trio's journey as they bid goodbye to their thirties and welcomed forties with open arms.

Apart from the interesting plot, "Thirty-Nine" was well-loved by many because of the unique cast lineup, especially the team-up between Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun.
As his interview continued, the actor mentioned how he liked working with the "Hospital Playlist" star.
He also took the opportunity to express his gratitude towards Jeon Mi Do for "treating everyone with a smile" on set.
As for Son Ye Jin, he said that he previously worked with the actress in "Something in The Rain."
Lee Moo Saeng was Son Ye Jin's boyfriend in the JTBC melodrama, appearing in episodes 15 and 16.
What's Next for Lee Moo Saeng?
After "Thirty-Nine," he is set to appear as one of the cast in the upcoming K-drama "Cleaning Up" with Yeon Jung Ah, Jeon So Min, and Kim Jae Hwa.
In addition, he is also set to make a comeback to the big screen with a new movie "Citizen Deok Hee," led by Ra Mi Ran, Gong Myung, and more.
