Lee Sang Yeob to Host Episode of Coupang Play's 'SNL Korea’ Season 2

Lee Sang Yeob will be hosting Coupang Play's "SNL Korea" season 2.

The 38-year-old actor is scheduled to appear in one of the upcoming episodes of a late-night live TV sketch comedy and variety show.

Lee Sang Yeon Confirmed to Guest Host 'SNL Korea' Season 2

The news was confirmed by Osen, noting that the "While You Were Sleeping" star will be the guest host of "SNL Korea" season 2.

Hosted by Shin Dong Yup with regular members Jung Sang Hoon, Kwon Hyuk Soo, Kim Min Kyo, Ahn Young Mi, and more, viewers will be mesmerized by the actor's charm and wit as he does hilarious skits on the show.

Previously, "SNL Korea" season 2 featured Shin Hye Sun, Kang Ha Neul, Lee Dong Hwi, and "Work Later, Drink Now" lead stars Lee Sun Bin, Han Sun Hwa, and Jung Eun Ji in an episode.

Lee Sang Yeob Stars in Seo Ye Ji's K-drama Comeback' Eve'

The 38-year-old star has solidified his name both on K-drama and variety shows.

After his debut in 2007's "A Happy Woman", he has done a slew of remarkable K-dramas and movies through the years.

Now, Lee Sang Yeob is set to headline multiple projects this 2022.

After the MBC's "On the Verge of Insanity," he will join Seo Ye Ji and Park Byung Eun in the upcoming romance K-drama "Eve."

In the upcoming series, he will be portraying the role of Seo Eun Pyung. Lee Sang Yeob's character in "Eve" is the youngest member of the National Assembly.

Amid his successful career, Seo Eun Pyung managed to overcome his painful past after growing up in an orphanage.

Moreover, the charter is also described as someone who will sacrifice everything for love.

Interestingly, Newsen cited how the production team lauded the actor as he perfectly fit for the role of Seo Eun Pyung.

The team shared that Lee Sang Yeob's shining eyes exude warmth yet firmness, adding that "he is Seo Eun Pyung himself."

As the network gears up for the forthcoming release of "Eve" tvN recently confirmed that the melodrama will debut in May after wrapping up Lee Kwang Soo's "The Killer's Shopping List."

Lee Sang Yeob Returns to 'Sixth Sense 3'

Adding to the list of Lee Sang Yeob's projects this year is the return of tvN's "Sixth Sense 3."

The variety show officially returned for its third season last March 18, giving the viewers synergy between the main hosts Yoo Jae Suk, Oh Na Ra, Lee Mi Joo, and the "Nunu Nana" hitmaker, Jessi.

Initially, "Sixth Sense 3" was slated to premiere on March 11 but was postponed for another week after the program's producing director and Lee Sang Yeob, tested positive for COVID-19.

At the time, tvN released an official statement. They asked for the viewers' understanding who are patiently waiting for the show's third season.
