Lee Junho Wins Best Actor Trophy at Korea PD Awards Named
On April 13, the Korea PD Awards held its yearly ceremony, recognizing the creative minds such as producing directors and entertainers who bring contributions to society and culture.
Lee Junho made history as he was the first idol-turned-actor who took home the Best Actor award in the annual ceremony.
As he received the trophy, the "Wok of Love" star also delivered a short message, saying that when he first heard the news that he would be receiving such a big award, the 2PM member was genuinely happy.
Lee Junho Acknowledges People Behind His Success
The award-winning actor didn't forget to thank all the people behind his success, particularly his fans and drama viewers. Junho also expressed his deepest gratitude to "The Red Sleeve Cuff" cast and crew.
According to him, "While filming 'TRSC,' I realized a lot of things it was a place where everyone cheered and praised each other, gave strength to each other, were considerate of one another, and took care of each other since day one of our filming journey."

He pointed out that the healthy and happy atmosphere on the filming set was the reason why "The Red Sleeve Cuff" became a success.
The past recipients of the award were Namgoong Min, Song Joong Ki, Kim Nam Gil, Shin Ha Kyun, and more.

On the other hand, apart from Lee Junho, the drama's ever-talented director Jung Ji In, was also acknowledged at the event. She bagged the Daesang Award for PD of the year for her excellence.
Meanwhile, KBS' melodrama "Youth of May," which stars Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si, won the Best Drama Award. SBS' "Kick a Goal," also known as "Shooting Stars," received the Best Variety Show Awards
