What's Next for the 'Uncontrollably Fond' Lead Stars
KBS' melodrama "Uncontrollably Fond" gave the viewers a good cry for its great narratives. It follows the story of Shin Joon Young (Kim Woo Bin) and Noh Eul (Suzy). They were childhood friends and were separated during their teenage years.
Years after, they crossed paths and they are already pursuing different careers in life. Joon Young has become a top actor-singer, while Noh Eul is a documentary producer. As they continued to see each other, their feelings for each other eventually grew.
Since the drama premiered in 2016, it became a hot topic and received high viewership ratings during its run.
Six years later, its lead stars are still prominent in the industry and now have jam-packed schedules for the rest of this year.
Kim Woo Bin
In 2017, he was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal cancer and took a hiatus from his career to focus on his treatment and fast recovery. After the announcement that he had recovered from his illness, the actor started to participate in fashion magazine pictorials and brand campaigns.
This 2022, Kim Woo Bin is finally back on track. He already made a public appearance after he attended the press conference of his upcoming series "Our Blues." The star-studded drama currently airs every weekend.
"The Heirs" actor is also returning to the big screen with the sci-fi movie "Alien," where he will work with Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Tae Ri, So Ji Sub, Yum Jung Ah, Lee Honey, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Eui Sung, and Yoo Jae Myung. The team already wrapped up filming production last April 19, 2021.

Kim Woo Bin is also confirmed to lead his first Netflix series "Black Night."
Suzy
Singer-actress Suzy is both busy with her singing and acting career. Though she had no drama in 2021, her name remained popular as she collaborated with various big brands of makeup, skincare products, clothes, and more.
Following her 2020 series "Start-Up," the former MissA member will headline the Coupang Play's upcoming series "Anna," where she will live a double life. This marks her first small-screen comeback after almost two years. She also released a digital single "Satellite," last March.
On the other hand, the nation's first love has another possible series to come to Netflix. She is courted to lead the drama "Lee Doo Na" also known as "The Girl Downstairs" a webtoon-based series that depicts the story of idol Lee Doo Na.
Meanwhile, her upcoming sci-fi movie "Wonderland" alongside Gong Yoo, Choi Woo Sik, Park Bo Gum, Jung Yu Mi, and Tang Wei is in talks to premiere in May.
