"Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area" stars Yoo Ji Tae as Professor while actors Kim Yun Jin, Jeon Jong Seo, Park Hae Soo, Lee Won Jong, Kim Ji Hoon, Jang Yoon Ju, Lee Hyun Woo, Kim Ji Hoon and Lee Kyu Ho make up the gang.
On Friday, April 29, Netflix's "Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area" finally announced that the much-anticipated heist series will finally be released on June 24 through a short teaser.
The mask that was shown in the drama represents the traditional South Korean beauty. Drops of blood from the white mask raises adrenaline, suggesting inexplicable hurdles in the team's heist.
The caption that reads "One crime can change the world" further intensifies expectations on the South Korean take on the ultimate heist.
Although the official release of the series is still a month away, the public's anticipation and excitement are already through the roof.
'Money Heist' Further Details and What We Know So Far
The popularity of South Korean dramas took off in the last decade, and streaming platform Netflix made a significant contribution in the K-Drama scene with its best releases.
With that said, Netflix's "Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area" is one of the additions to Netflix's wide array of promising South Korean dramas.
The drama is directed by Kim Hong Sun, the creator of the famous series "Voice" while Ryu Yong Jae wrote the screenplay for the adaptation.
