Park Bo Gum will officially resume its activities, starting off with the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards.

After BoGummy's military enlistment in August 2020, serving as a member of the Navy's Military Band as a cultural promotion officer, the K-drama heartthrob wrapped up his mandatory service in February 2022.

As part of his return to the limelight, the "Encounter" star will be a part of the Baeksang Arts Awards 2022.

According to Osen, Park Bo Gum's agency Blossom Entertainment revealed that the actor is gearing up for his scheduled activities, which include the annual ceremony.

In a statement, the talent label said that he "is currently preparing for his discharge, and he will greet him through the Baeksang Arts Awards as his first comeback after his military service."

Standing on stage and hosting the Baeksang Arts Awards is no stranger to Park Bo Gum.

To recall, the award-winning actor has been hosting the annual ceremony since 2018. He is joined by Shin Dong Yup, who has been hosting for almost seven consecutive years, followed by Bae Suzy, who has been gracing Baeksang Arts Awards as host since 2016.

Unfortunately, the trio was not complete during the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards because the actor was serving in the military at the time.

Amid the announcement of the ceremony's MC, fans are still hopeful that they could see the synergy of Park Bo Gum, Suzy, and Shin Dong Yup this coming awards night as they entertain the crowd with their wit and charm.

Slated on May 6, 2022, at KINTEX, Ilsanseo-gu, Gyeonggi Province, the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards Ceremony will be broadcasted live through JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4 at 7:45 pm KST.

For the event's main highlight, the Baeksang Arts Awards 2022 nominees include a roster of A-listers and newbies, gaining worldwide popularity.

This 2022 nomination for Best Drama includes Netflix's "D.P." and "Squid Game," tvN's "Twenty Five, Twenty One," MBC "The Red Sleeve Cuff," and wavve's "Political Fever."

Meanwhile, the Best Actor Award nominees are Kim Nam Gil for his role in "Through the Darkness," Lee Junho for MBC's "The Red Sleeve," Im Siwan for his character in "Tracer," Jung Hae In for "D.P" and lastly Lee Jung Jae's Netflix "Squid Game."

While the Best Actor category boasts a slew of equally talented stars, the Best Actress award has a list of those who dominated the Hallyu scene with their stellar performance.

Joining the category is tvN "Twenty Five, Twenty One" star Kim Tae Ri as well as Park Eun Bin and Lee Se Young - for KBS2's "The King's Affection" and MBC's "The Red Sleeve Cuff."

Of course, the list wouldn't be complete without Netflix. "Juvenile Justice" star Kim Hye Soo, who played the terrifying court judge, Sim Eun Seok, while Han So Hee concludes the nominees after her performance in "My Name."
