As noted by a media outlet, KBS' "Entertainment Company Live" made a rundown of five South Korean celebrities who regained their fame recently.
Basketball player Huh Jae, who is famous for his jaw-dropping moves on the court, made the cut and landed at fourth.
Joining the list is Lovelyz's Lee Mi Joo, who made it at fifth.
Interestingly, these 3 K-drama stars topped the rankings as noted by KBS' "Entertainment Company Live."
Lee Junho
Apart from being a member of 2PM, Lee Junho is one of the Kpop idols who successfully transitioned into a K-drama star.
In 2021, he had his major comeback after headlining the cast of the historical K-drama "The Red Sleeve Cuff," alongside Lee Se Young.
Viewers lauded the duo's on-screen chemistry as they play crown prince Yi San, played by the 2PM member, and the fearless court lady Seong Deok Im, portrayed by the 29-year-old actress.
At the time, "The Red Sleeve Cuff" was unbeatable in most buzzworthy drama and actor rankings and also garnered soaring viewership ratings.
Interestingly, Lee Junho has a surprise treat for his fans as he is set to headline a rom-com series with YoonA of Girls' Generation.
Junho's upcoming K-drama "King the Land" will air in 2023.
Jung Ho Yeon
From being a runway goddess, Jung Ho Yeon solidified her name in showbiz after joining the cast of Netflix's "Squid Game."
Despite being a newcomer in K-dramaland, the 27-year-old beauty flawlessly portrayed the role of North Korean defector Kang Sae Byeok a.k.a player no. 067.
Following the massive success of "Squid Game," Jung Ho Yeon became one of the fastest rising stars in 2021, surpassing Hallyu queen Song Hye Kyo and fellow model Lee Sung Kyung as the most followed Korean actress on Instagram.
In addition, she was also selected as the global ambassador of international brands such as Calvin Klein, Adidas, and Louis Vuitton.

This 2022, she made some noise after landing the role of Sunja in the Apple TV+ series "Pachinko" with Lee Min Ho and Kim Min Ha.
