Seo Ye Ji is unstoppable as she plays a revenge-driven woman in tvN's "Eve."
The 32-year-old actress' return to the small screen is among the highly anticipated K-dramas this 2022.
"Eve" is an upcoming romance drama that focuses on a 2 trillion won or 1.7 billion dollar divorce lawsuit of two chaebols, rocking the entire country with the scandalous affair.
Meanwhile, Lee Ra El, played by Seo Ye Ji, devoted her life to avenging her family, who was torn apart after her father's death.
Joining the lead star is Park Byung Eun, who took the role of LY Group CEO Kang Yoon Gyeom. He is paired up with Yoo Sun, who portrays Han So Ra, the only daughter of a powerful assemblyman.
'Eve' Trailer
As the broadcast network gears for the much-awaited series, tvN teases fans with the second trailer of Seo Ye Ji's new drama.
"Woman who designed revenge vs. people who chose danger! Where is their desire headed?!" the caption reads, alongside a sneak peek of the upcoming K-drama hinting at Lee Ra El's deadly revenge.
As seen in "Eve" trailer, Park Byung Eun held a press conference, confessing about his affair.
"I'm in love with someone other than my wife," he said, followed by a clip of Yoo Sun getting furious over her husband's confession.

Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yeob, who plays Seo Eun Pyung, was also caught up in a messy situation after he got involved with Lee Ra El.
However, the last part of the trailer showed Lee Ra El smiling strangely, suggesting that she is the reason behind the couple's mess.
'Eve': What To Expect About Seo Ye Ji's New Drama
The drama is helmed by Park Bong Sub, the director behind the rom-com series "Dinner Mate." He worked alongside screenwriter Yoon Young Mi who penned the blockbuster K-drama "Birth of a Beauty," and "Nice Witch." The upcoming tvN series is predicted to be a makjang series that would keep viewers at the edge of their seats.
K-dramas are known for their makjang series or unrealistic and exaggerated storyline, which includes complicated relationships among characters.
It revolves around revenge, murders, and violence like "The Penthouse" and "SKY Castle."
Interestingly, with Seo Ye Ji's new character, viewers might see a stellar performance from the actress, proving her versatility.
While "Eve" cast boasts a roster of talented lead stars, the tvN series announced that So Hee Jung, who recently appeared in "Shooting Stars," will also join as a supporting cast.
According to a local media outlet, she will play the role of Kim Gye Young, a loyal assistant to human rights lawyer Seo Eun Pyung. In the drama, viewers will see the significant part of So Hee Jung and her connection with Lee Sang Yeob's character.
Amid the teasers and trailer released by tvN, "Eve" release date is scheduled to hit the small screens on May 25, airing every Wednesday and Thursday.
