These South Korean stars who all excel in acting indeed have one thing in common. They originated from one of the biggest and known provinces in Korea, Busan. And now they are part of the province's pride as they dominate the entertainment industry with their big projects.

Get to know these "Busan Boys" who are stealing every K-drama fan's heart with their talents and visuals!

1. Gong Yoo

First on our list is notable actor Gong Ji Chul, widely known as Gong Yoo, he was born and raised in Dongnae-gu, Busan on July 10, 1979. The A-list actor graduated from Kyung Hee University with a Bachelor's Degree in Theater. He first rose to fame when he starred in the 2007 rom-com drama "Coffee Prince" alongside Yoon Eun Hye, which became a megahit worldwide.

Some of his successful projects were "Train to Busan," "Silenced," "Goblin," and "Squid Game." Meanwhile, he is about to make a silver screen comeback this year with the fantasy-sci-fi movie "Wonderland" together with Suzy and Park Bo Gum.

2. Lee Joon Gi

He currently dominates the Friday-Saturday primetime with his SBS legal-revenge drama "Again My Life." The 41-year-old actor originated from Nam-gu in Busan, was raised by his parents, and has one younger sister. Before making it big time as an actor, Lee Joon Gi started his career journey as a model, and singer, and had minor roles in dramas.

Most of his dramas are highly anticipated by local and international fans, for Lee Joon Gi has the power to steal the spotlight in any role given to him.

3. Kang Ha Neul

The ever-talented South Korean actor who now has six major awards under his belt for his excellent execution in various dramas such as "Angel Eye," "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," and "When the Camellia Blooms."

Kang Ha Neul was born and raised in Busan, attended Chung-Ang University, and majored in Theater and Film. His recent project is the movie "The Pirates 2: The Last Royal Treasure," and is gearing up for his drama return with "Insider" and "Curtain Call."

4. Im Siwan

Before he debuted as an actor, Im Siwan first built a career in the music industry as he joined one of the second generations of K-pop group, ZE:A in 2010. He came from Eomgung-dong, Sasang-gu, Busan.

The idol-actor rose to fame when he appeared in the tvN's drama "Misaeng: Incomplete Life." Since then, Im Siwan landed various projects, which earned him praise from viewers. His latest drama was with MBC's "Tracer" and is set to have his big-screen comeback with "Emergency Declaration" and "1947 Boston."

5. Nam Joo Hyuk

The youngest of them all, who made a successful comeback with "Twenty Five, Twenty One," none other than, model-actor Nam Joo Hyuk. This 29-year-old star is from Yeongdo-gu, Busan, and continues creating buzz both in the entertainment and fashion scenes.

He attended the latest Dior fashion show in Seoul and flaunted pieces of clothes from the brand and incorporated his signature style. Nam Joo Hyuk is currently in talks to lead the webtoon-based series "Vigilante."
