Oh Yeon Seo Transforms Into Charismatic Detective in New Drama 'Minamdang'

Following the release of Seo In Guk's photo teasers, KBS2's upcoming mystery comedy series "Minamdang" shares a glimpse of Oh Yeon Seo in her new acting role!

"Minamdang" (also known as "Beautiful Man") is a Ko Jae Hyun-directed drama that depicts the story of a male shaman who was once a criminal profiler.

Oh Yeon Seo plays the role of Han Jae Hee, a third year homicide detective who has immense passion and dedication for her job. Meanwhile, Seo In Guk takes on the role of profiler-turned-shaman Nam Han Joon.

On Wednesday, May 18, KBS2 gave a sneak peek of Oh Yeon Seo's total transformation into Han Jae Hee, leaving fans and viewers in awe.

The photos highlight Han Jae Hee's sharp charisma as she sports a chic black leather jacket. Her unyielding gaze amplifies her intense aura.

"Minamdang" gives a realistic crime drama experience as another photo shows Han Jae Hee facing a notorious criminal. Even though the criminal charges a punch towards her, Han Jae Hee stands still with a fiery gaze in her eyes, hinting at the thrilling action and charms of the homicide detective.

Furthermore, "Minamdang" is slated to air for the first time in June 2022, after Kang Ha Na and Lee Joon's "Bloody Heart."

After her laudable acting performances in the dramas "Dong Yi," "A Korean Odyssey" and "Medical Top Team," Oh Yeon Seo quickly rose to the top as one of the industry's promising female lead stars.

Apart from KBS2's upcoming drama, Seo In Guk also returns to the silver screen with his new film "Wolf Hunting."

The film also stars stellar actors Jung So Min, Jang Do Yoon and Jang Young Nam. It focuses on the risky processes of escorting criminals between the Philippines and South Korea.

"Wolf Hunting" is scheduled to be released theatrically in the second half of 2022.
