An unsourced photo emerged online where they were seen being intimate to one another, as Gang Dong Won held a bag full of groceries.
Both of the actors' agencies denied the rumors, and it was believed that the alleged relationship was used to promote their upcoming film "Illang: The Wolf Brigade" at the time.
Go Min Si and GRAY
Earlier this year, actress Go Min Si was reported to be dating R & B singer GRAY.
Because of their almost identical Instagram photos, rumors about them getting cozy spiraled. However, Go Min Si's side immediately denied the rumors and refused to release a statement.
In 2021, Go Min Si starred in GRAY's "Make Love" music video as the latter's love interest. Because of the rumor, fans and curious viewers looked back at the song, heightening its popularity.
BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie
Idol-actor BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie became a hot topic in late May as the two have been swept up in dating rumors!
A photo taken in Jeju Island resembling the two celebrities spread on online communities, leading to rumors that the two are in a romantic relationship.
When urged to give out a response, YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK's label, neither confirmed nor denied the rumor. Meanwhile, BTS V's agency BIGHIT MUSIC did not comment at all.
Instead of being elated, fans and viewers speculated that the dating scandal was a decoy to divert the attention of fans who are focused on HYBE Label's new girl group's rumors.
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo
In 2017, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo or most commonly known as the "Song-Song Couple" made everyone's hearts flutter as they announced their marriage.
The two developed romantic feelings for one another on the set of their drama "Descendants of the Sun." Fans and viewers rejoiced with the news, and instantly became one of the most loved couples in television history.

Unfortunately, the two called it quits in June 2019 after 20 months of marriage due to opposing personalities and interests. The divorce process was also surprisingly quick.
The public believes that the relationship was only created to hype fans and "Song-Song Couple" fans, and that the two stars weren't in love from the get-go. In early 2022, their 12 million USD mansion was demolished, taking down the solid proof of their relationship.
