Jeon Do Yeon
Award-winning star Jeon Do Yeon attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 as a jury member.
Because of the trust that the committee of the event has given her, she became the very first South Korean star to join the jury board, along with American director Sofia Coppola, model Carole Bouquet and more.
In 2007, Jeon Do Yeon received a nod as the Best Actress at the renowned film festival for playing an emotionally distraught mother in "Secret Sunshine."
Her melodramatic thriller drama "The Housemaid" also competed at Cannes in 2010.
Im Si Wan, Song Kang Ho and Lee Byung Hun
In 2021, stellar actors Im Si Wan, Song Kang Ho and Lee Byung Hun made an appearance in the 74th Cannes Film Festival.
Their film "Emergency Declaration" was chosen for the Out of Competition category of the event, which was directed by Han Jae Rim.
In particular, Lee Byung Hun was chosen to be an award presenter. Song Kang Ho joined the jurors including Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jessica Hausner and more.
Previously, Song Kang Ho's "Parasite" became the first SouthKorean film to win the Palme d'Or, the most corvette award, at the Cannes Film Festival.

Real life best friends swept the 75th Cannes Film Festival with their undeniable chemistry.
The two attended the photocall event as their film "Hunt," which marks Lee Jung Jae's directorial debut, has been invited to the event's midnight screening section at the Lumière Grand Theater.
Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung walked side by side on the red carpet, exuding pride, delight and excitement.
Meanwhile, "Hunt" is a spy action drama that follows the story of two strong men who have to be wary of one another to find the mole in the organization.
