After being dubbed as the 2021 breakout star due to her stellar performance in Netflix's "Squid Game," the model-actress hits another milestone.

Jung Ho Yeon Makes it to Forbes' '30 Under 30 Asia' 2022

The 27-year-old South Korean beauty is among the celebrities and personalities who made it to the highly coveted list of Forbes.

The top-tier business magazine releases an annual list of 300 individuals under 30 years old who made a significant impact in various industries for the year, such as entertainment and sports, entrepreneurship, science, and more.

This 2022, Jung Ho Yeon joins the biggest names in the world as she lands Forbes' "30 Under 30 Asia," alongside K-pop girl group aespa for the entertainment and sport category.

Other personalities included on the list are Australian swimmer Kyle Chalmers, the musical duo from New Zealand, Broods and Japanese Olympian skateboarder Momiji Nishiya.

Forbes Magazine Highlights Jung Ho Yeon's Long List of Achievements

Interestingly, the magazine pointed out how she was able to transition from runway to small screen and managed to solidify her name as an actress.

To recall, Jung Ho Yeon's first-ever series was the hit K-drama "Squid Game," which catapulted her fame drastically.

As noted by Forbes, "Her performance as a brooding North Korean defector in the dystopian South Korean drama earned her the award for best actress in a drama series at this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards."

In addition, the publication also highlights Jung Ho Yeon's upcoming projects.

"She's expected to play the lead role in the upcoming Apple series Disclaimer, written and directed by Academy Award winner Alfonso Cuaróns," Forbes wrote.

Moreover, the South Korean beauty will also join the drama film "The Governesses" together with Lily-Rose Depp and Norwegian actress Renate Reinsve.

Adding to the list of the "Squid Game" star's achievement, Forbes also mentioned Jung Ho Yeon's Instagram following which now rakes 24 million.

Her skyrocketing popularity also gained attention not only from global fans but also from popular brands. In 2021, Jung Ho Yeon was hailed by Louis Vuitton as their newest brand ambassador, joining Kpop sensation BTS.

The 27-year-old star spoke about the meaning of hard work as she graced Elle Korea's April 2022 issue.

Jung Ho Yeon puts emphasis on doing your best and working hard in the industry.

As obtained by an the fanshion magazine, the model-actress explained, "It is true that I try to do my best in everything. It's because I have respect for the time and effort that the people I work with have made."

In addition, Jung Ho Yeon also left words of wisdom to the younger generation to advise them to "pay more attention to their family, friends, and other people around them" than focusing on themselves.
