Yeon Woo Jin Considers To Star in Netflix's 'Morning Comes To The Mental Ward'

K-Drama actor Yeon Woo Jin is currently in talks to star in Netflix's original series "Morning Comes To The Mental Ward." On May 30, the actor's agency Jump Entertainment announced in the media that Woo Jin is considering the offer to join the drama's cast.

The forthcoming webtoon-based series "Morning Comes To The Mental Ward" depicts the various stories of people inside the psychiatric ward. In addition, the said Netflix drama is expected to be helmed by "All of Us Are Dead" director Lee Jae Gyu.

Meanwhile, in February this year, female star Park Bo Young was reported to have received an offer to headline the webtoon-based drama. The said healing series is based on the real-life experience of a psychiatric nurse, Jung Shi Na, the role offered to the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actress.

Furthermore, attention now is focused on actor Yeon Woo Jin, and whether he will accept the drama as his new project.

The "Search" actor had his drama comeback with "Thirty-Nine" in the first half of 2022, where he worked with "Crash Landing On You" actress Son Ye Jin.

Ahead of his return to the small screen last February, Woo Jin made his silver screen appearance in the action-crime movie "Special Delivery." The male star also headlined the film "Serve the People" alongside Ji An and Jo Seong Ah.
