Coupang Play surprised fans and viewers with the official poster of "Anna" featuring Bae Suzy as she plays Yoo Mi.

As seen in the teaser, the 27-year-old star looked elegant and charming as ever while showcasing different emotions of her character.

Bae Suzy subtly changed her expressions, making viewers look forward to her acting transformation. Fans predict that the Hallyu star will vividly portray the three-dimensional character of Yoo Mi.

"A new side of Suzy that you've never seen before! Coupang Play Series "Anna" Teaser Poster Revealed!" the Instagram caption reads alongside the newest update on the upcoming series.

Aside from the new official poster, the streaming service also unveiled the "Anna" release date.

Through their IG post, Coupang Play announced that Bae Suzy's new drama will premiere on June 24 at 8 pm and will be the newest Friday K-drama that will get viewers hooked.

Helmed by director Lee Joo Young, who is also the person behind the 2012 movie "On the Other Side of You," the upcoming thriller drama series is Bae Suzy's comeback since the 2020 smash hit K-drama "Start-Up."

Interestingly, the singer-actress is making a bold return by playing Yoo Mi, a woman who ends up living in someone else's life.

In the upcoming drama, Yoo Mi portrays someone who has Ripley's Syndrome, a psychological condition wherein a person involved confuses herself about one's actual personality.

With this, she gets caught up in her little lie and is now trapped living in her world.

Joining Bae Suzy is Jung Eun Chae from "Pachinko." The South Korean beauty is set to play the kind-hearted Hyun Joo, who has a subtle tense relationship with Yoo Mi.

Adding to the list of "Anna" cast is Kim Joon Han as Yoo Mi's husband, Ji Hoon. he is described as an ambitious and future-oriented person.

Lastly, Park Ye Young will be Yoo Mi's best friend Ji Won, who is the only person whom she trusts.

While viewers are looking forward to the much-awaited debut, "Anna" will be a miniseries with only eight episodes for the whole season.

As noted by an outlet, Bae Suzy's new drama is initially planned to be a film, but due to the story's potential, it was expanded to be an eight-part miniseries.
