TVXQ’s Yunho To Make Drama Comeback After 5 Years

TVXQ member and actor Yunho is returning to the small screen after five years with a new exciting drama.

A K-media outlet reported on June 2 that actor Yunho will make his long-awaited drama comeback. In addition, an official from the entertainment industry stated that U-Know, a.k.a Yunho, is confirmed to join the cast of the upcoming series "Race."

The said drama will be penned by "Hyena" writer Kim Ru Ri. "Race" is a series that depicts people's race living in a fast-paced digital age.

Yunho Takes the Role of Public Relations Head

Yunho takes the role of Seo Dong Hoon, public relations head of Earth Communications agency. He was born in the United States and transferred to Korea during middle school. He graduated from New York Art School and worked for a design company in America.

After finishing his master's degree, he returned to Korea and started working in public relations. He also serves as a manager and team leader before landing the CEO position.

Seo Dong Hoon is an ideal promoter with a flexible mindset that understands the rapidly changing public relations environment, values free expression, and compromises with the limitations of reality.

In addition to Yunho's character, he will be involved in a love triangle with Lee Yeon Hee, who takes the role of Park Yoon Jo, and Hong Jong Hyun as Ryu Jae Min. Actress Moon So Ri is also confirmed to be part of the cast and expected to play the character of Gu Yi Jung.

Yunho's Acting Career Journey

The TVXQ member who has displayed his stable acting in the series "No Limit," "Poseidon," "Queen of Ambition," and "Diary of A Night Watchman," is ready to show a new side of his charm as he makes a comeback on the small screen.

His latest series was in OCN's "Melaholic" in 2017.

Jung Yunho made his acting debut in 2009 when he appeared in the MBC series "No Limit." It was his first drama lead role where he played the character of Cha Bong Kun, a guy who dreams of becoming a successful football player.

In the same year, he also made his first cameo in the movie "Dance Subaru." His last film was "Ode To My Father" which was released in 2014.

Yunho has become busier from 2017 onwards as he and TVXQ co-member Changmin focus on working with their music.

Furthermore, other details and confirmed celebrities to join Yunho in the project are yet to be announced.
