On June 3, the "Sell Your Haunted House" star surprised fans with bombshell news, announcing her engagement. The actress took to social media and shared a handwritten letter revealing that she is getting married.
On Jang Nara's Instagram, she began by saying that she has "personal but happy news to share," adding that she is "getting married."
The 41-year-old South Korean beauty also hints about the lucky guy's identity, noting that her non-showbiz boyfriend is six years younger than her.
Moreover, she also mentioned that his career is in line with "video work."
In a heartfelt letter, Jang Nara also shared that she and her fiancee promised to "become one another's life companions."
"The fact that I will be spending my life together with such an amazing person makes me so happy that I couldn't ask for anything more, and I wanted to honestly share my happiness with all of you, who are so precious to me!" she added.
Wrapping up Jang Nara's wedding announcement, she apologized and felt "truly sorry" for not being able to disclose the identity of her boyfriend, who "might face discomfort at work" because of the actress.

Amid this, her agency, Rawon Culture, warned that they would take legal action against those spreading personal information about Jang Nara's fiancé and sharing malicious posts about the couple.
As reported by SpoTV News, the management reiterated that the actress "groom-to-be is not a celebrity," and their agency has "deemed posts attacking [her fiancé's] family or spreading excessive information about his identity."
