As he currently makes a name for himself in the acting industry, did you know that this "Business Proposal" actor used to train alongside K-pop group SEVENTEEN to become an idol?
Read on to know who he is!
Kim Min Gyu Trained With SEVENTEEN
In the recent MBC's "Radio Star" episode broadcast on June 15, "Business Proposal" star Kim Min Gyu, who played the role of Secretary Cha Sung Hoon, made his guest appearance and mentioned about his rookie days before becoming an actor.
According to the South Korean star, he trained to become a singer for a very short period of time, particularly, to become a member of a K-pop group.
When the program's hosts and guests asked who among the famous K-pop groups he trained before, Kim Min Gyu then answered:
"I am not sure if I would have necessarily been in that group, but there are people that I trained with. They are SEVENTEEN."
The "Backstreet Rookie" star further explained that he only trained for a month and eventually stopped because he found himself not that good in singing and was also bad in dancing.
But ever since, Kim Min Gyu has that desire to pursue acting, and that's where he focused on.
SEVENTEEN is currently one of K-pop's top groups. They continue to dominate music and album charts both in Korea and abroad. The boy group just had their comeback with "Face the Sun" last May 27 and are now preparing for their world tour that will kick off in Seoul this coming June 25-26 at Gocheok Sky Dome.

Before debuting as an actor, Ahn Hyo Seop attended extensive idol training with the group GOT7. But due to other circumstances, the model-actor was not able to debut with the septet.
