Many characters in some famous K-Dramas are created to seek revenge or ruin relationships, and the actors who portray them effortlessly slay the role! While they are considered vile and evil, these "mistresses" are more often than not redeemable, making the storyline more interesting. Here are some of the most remarkable mistresses in the Hallyu world!
Han So Hee in 'The World of the Married'
Han So Hee enticed avid K-Drama viewers to tune in in the family thriller drama "The World of Married."
No one could even point out that the JTBC series is one of Han So Hee's first ever major roles, thanks to her exquisite acting and perfect synchronization with her character.
In the series, she played the role of Yeo Da Kyung, a young and beautiful woman in a secret and intimate relationship with Park Hae Joon's character.
Many were impressed with her character portrayal, which opened more opportunities for the actress. In particular, "The World of the Married" is the highest-rated K-Drama in Korean history.
Kim Yoo Jin in 'The Penthouse'
One of the redeemable mistresses in K-Drama land is Kim Yoo Jin's Oh Yoon Hee in the black comedy series "The Penthouse."
With many years of experience, Kim Yoo Jin seamlessly transformed into her character, a mistress to her friend's husband.

Though she committed adultery, betrayed her friend Lee Ji Ah (Shim Su Ryeon), and even harmed their daughter once, Kim Yoo Jin's character was able to redeem herself by becoming her partner-in-crime later on.
Though many people disapproved of her redemption arc as it is unrealistic and "too absurd," it's evident that Kim Yoo Jin successfully played her part as Oh Yoon Hee.
Jeon So Min in 'Show Window: The Queen's House'
We love watching women supporting women, but what happens when your closest friend, who you treat as a sister, stabs you in the back by sleeping with your husband?
In "Show Window: The Queen's House," Jeon So Min plays the role of Yoon Mi Ra, a mistress who infiltrates the life of her friend Han Sung Joo, played by Song Yoon Ah.
Ironically, Song Yoon Ah cheered on Yoon Mi Ra in her new relationship, not knowing that the affair was with her own husband.
The betrayal, infidelity, and pain depicted in the drama made the work more effective, leaving fans in awe of the cast's excellent portrayal.
Seo Ye Ji in 'Eve'
Award-winning actress Seo Ye Ji returned to the small screen with her hottest and most daring acting role yet as a revenge-driven mistress in "Eve."
Because of what Han So Ra and Kang Yoon Gyeom, played by Yoo Sun and Park Byung Eun respectively, did to Seo Ye Ji and her family, the latter is determined to ruin what they have now.

Though it's common knowledge how great Seo Ye Ji is as an actress, her transformation in her comeback drama still impresses fans and viewers.
Unlike Jeon So Min's character, who has redeemed herself, Seo Ye Ji's character Kim Sun Bin might take a different path as her life is solely dedicated to avenging herself and her family.
