Lee Min Ho Instagram Reaches 30 Million Followers

"The King: Eternal Monarch" who recently celebrated his 35th birthday is now the most followed Korean Actor on Instagram.

As of this writing, Lee Min Ho's Instagram rakes 30 million followers and counting.

His recent post was a photo featuring his celebration on his birthday.

As seen on his post, the actor was inside a room filled with presents from his supporters and at the same time took the opportunity to express his gratitude to his fans.

Apart from the actor, the equally talented Cha Eun Woo nears hitting the 30 million mark. He currently has 29 million Instagram followers, making him the second most followed Korean actor on IG.

Lee Min Ho New Drama: Hallyu Star Teams Up with Gong Hyo Jin in 'Ask the Stars'

The actor's new achievement comes ahead of Lee Min Ho's new drama with Gong Hyo Jin. The duo is headlining the upcoming rom-com series "Ask the Stars," which depicts a budding love story in an unexpected place.

Lee Min Ho took the role of OB-GYN doctor Gong Ryong. He joined the expedition as a tourist where he meets Korean-American astronaut Eve Kim, portrayed by Gong Hyo Jin.

Joining the duo are Han Ji Eun and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" star Oh Jung Se.

Helmed by "Lovestruck in the City" "Jealousy Incarnate" and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" director Park Shin Woo and penned by Seo Sook Hyang who also worked with Gong Hyo Jin's "Pasta" and "Jealousy Incarnate" "Ask the Stars" is currently in production and slated to premiere in 2023.

Will Lee Min Ho Join 'Pachinko 2' Cast?

The novel-based series "Pachinko," written by Min Jin Lee, garnered global attention and received positive feedback from viewers and critics.

The eight-episode drama follows the story of a Korean immigrant family across four generations who left their homeland in order to survive.

Lee Min Ho plays the wealthy merchant Ko Hansu, who falls in love with Sunja, played by rookie actress Kim Minha.

Joining the "Pachinko" cast is Academy Award winner Youn Yuh Jung who played the older Sunja.

Following the massive success, "Pachinko" gets renewed for a second season; however, officials are tight-lipped regarding the cast members reprising their roles.
