Kim Seon Ho's 'Touching the Void' Tickets Sold Out Ahead of Premiere
According to a report, tickets for "Touching the Void," in which Kim Seon Ho is one of the main cast, are currently sold out a week before the premiere.
To recall, his agency, SALT Entertainment, officially announced the actor's comeback on stage, which will make a debut on July 8 and will run till September 18 at Daehak-ro Art One Theater 2 in Jongno, Seoul.
What We Need to Know About Kim Seon Ho's 'Touching the Void'
Before being widely known as K-drama's "good boy," Kim Seon Ho started his career as a theater actor and eventually transitioned to becoming a mainstream star to sought-after leading man.
After his back-to-back hit series like "Start-Up" and "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," the 36-year-old star returns on stage through "Touching the Void."
The upcoming play is based on the real-life story of two British mountaineers who faced a death-defying incident on the summit of Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes.
In the upcoming theater play, Kim Seon Ho took on the role of hiker Joe Simpson. Joining him are fellow lead stars Shin Sung Min, Lee Hwi Jong, and Lee Jin Hee.

Ahead of the actor's comeback on stage, SALT Entertainment released a sneak peek of "Touching the Void" through behind-the-scenes and official posters featuring the Hallyu actor.
For his preparation, the 36-year-old actor learned wall climbing as he gears up for the stage play. To recall, "Touching the Void" is among his upcoming activities after Kim Seon Ho's eighth-month hiatus.
Due to the criticisms and false accusations after being involved in a controversy, the actor had to pause his career and dropped out from projects including his variety show "2 Days & 1 Night," and romantic-comedy flick "2 O'Clock Date" opposite Girls' Generation's YoonA.
Kim Seon Ho was then replaced by the equally talented Ahn Bo Hyun as the lead star.
Kim Seon Ho Movie 'Sad Tropical'
Now, as the actor returns to the spotlight, he remained one of the main characters in the upcoming movie "Sad Tropical." The action drama is also his big-screen debut since he started his acting career in 2017.
Helmed by Park Hoon Jung who also directed "V.I.P" and "The Witch: Part 2. The Other One" Kim Seon Ho's new movie follows the story of a man, who was born to a Filipina mother and a Korean father.
Besides his lifelong dream to become a professional boxer, he decides to return to his homeland to find his father.
Joining Kim Seon Ho are Go Ah Ra, Kim Kang Woo, and rookie actor Kang Tae Joo.
