In "Why Her?" episode 10, Oh Soo Jae discovered Gong Chan's real identity after seeing his past case record of being wrongfully accused of the murder of his stepsister. The female lawyer was shocked by what she had found out, remembering that Gong Chan was Kim Dong Gu, the first person she defended when she was still starting as a lawyer.
'Why Her?' Episode 11: Gong Chan Curious about Baek Jin Ki's Involvement in His Stepsister's Case
On July 8, ahead of "Why Her?" episode 11 broadcast, SBS released new stills showing what to anticipate in the drama. To begin with, Gong Chan and Seojung University Director Baek Jin Ki (Kim Chang Wan) cross paths at the charnel house. It was after someone's remains were discovered at a construction site that Gong Chan recalled some tragic memories of his stepsister Jeon Na Jung (Hwang Ji Ah).
But what surprised Gong Chan is to see Baek Jin Ki unexpectedly in the familiar site.

Adding to the tension of the drama is the photo revealing the confrontation between Gong Chan and Noh Byung Chul (Kim Han Joon) at the visiting room in the precinct. Byung Chul is the person who admitted that he was the one who murdered and abandoned Jeon Na Jung. The male student uses the chance to interrogate the convict with rage and sadness, while Byung Chul responds inattentively.
Gong Chan and Oh Soo Jae Are Distant of Each Other
Due to his busy schedule trying to figure out the truth about the real culprit behind the case of his stepsister, Gong Chan becomes distant from Oh Soo Jae.
In the other stills, Gong Chan is sitting under the rain. He looks lost in what's happening in his life. On the other hand, Oh Soo Jae goes straight in front of him. The female professor's cold expression and Chan's mournful gaze give hints of the distance between them.
Meanwhile, an official from the production shared that they should anticipate the change between the main characters, Oh Soo Jae and Gong Chan. Furthermore, the representative added that more intriguing stories and truth that wasn't revealed in the past would start to be unveiled.
