It has been said that the "Sell Your Haunted House" actor refused to appear in the series "The Heirs" for the reason that the drama's production company and his agency FNC couldn't reach a final agreement.

Why Did Jung Yong Hwa Turn Down to Star in 'The Heirs'?

The celebrity was not that interested in joining because he aimed to try a new challenging role different from youth drama. There was also a rumor that since he already shared the frame with Park Shin Hye twice, he wanted to work with new actors.

Though there was no official statement explaining why he turned down the offer because of Park Shin Hye, people were hoping to see them again in a project.

Later on, the second lead role was finally passed to Kim Woo Bin, who was able to showcase his acting skills and left a good impression on the viewers.

The role is also considered his big break because since then, the model-actor landed various leading roles and worked with known and brilliant actors and actresses in the entertainment industry.

Meanwhile, Jung Yong Hwa is now booked for some projects following his 2021 small-screen comeback "Sell Your Haunted House," alongside Jang Nara.

Jung Yong Hwa is expected to team up with "True Beauty" actress Park Yoo Na in a new coming-of-age romance drama under Disney+.
