Besides her iconic beauty and acting skills, Son Ye Jin is known to headline smash hit K-dramas and movies. From melodrama, rom-com, adventure to action, the 40-year-old star will surely deliver impressive results.
However, the soon-to-be mom reportedly offered to star in these 4 series. However, according to the report Son Ye Jin turned down to be part of these K-dramas.
'Iris'
The action thriller romance series is considered Kim Tae Hee's work of a lifetime besides "Stairway to Heaven" and "Nine-Tailed Fox." However, it was first offered to Son Ye Jin to play the role of NSS analyst Choi Seung Hee.
During the early 2000s, Son Ye Jin was focusing on the big screen, hence she had back-to-back projects at the time.

Instead of saying yes to "Iris," the Hallyu star accepted the offer for the movie "White Night," which stars Go Soo and Han Seok Kyu of "Doctor Romantic."
Meanwhile, "Iris" was raking tons of viewership ratings and is among the most-watched K-dramas of 2009. With a whopping budget of 20 billion won, the action thriller romance series garnered a 25.4 to 41.8 percent viewership rating.
'The Spring Day of My Life'
Viewers were drawn to the storyline and team-up between Kam Woo Sung, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung, Lee Joon Hyuk, and Jang Shin Young in the 2014 MBC K-drama "The Spring Day of My Life."
Interestingly, Son Ye Jin was the first choice to play the terminally ill Lee Bom Yi. The character went to the singer-actress after the Hallyu star refused the offer for unknown reasons.
It seems like the role of Lee Bom Yi was destined for the SNSD member to showcase her versatility as an actress. During the airing of the melodrama, "The Spring Day of My Life" hit an average rating of 10.6 percent.
'Sungkyunkwan Scandal'
Definitely one of the most popular K-dramas of 2010 is "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," which stars today's top-billed celebrities like Song Joong Ki, Park Min Young, Yoo Ah In, Park Yoo Chun, and more.
The director wanted Son Ye Jin to play Park Min Young's characters Kim Yoon Hee and Kim Yoon Shik but opted to play the rom-com series "Personal Taste" opposite Lee Min Ho.
It was the actress' comeback to the small screen after two years but it turned out that "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" gained a big hit than Son Ye Jin's "Personal Taste."
'Missing You'
Lastly, Son Ye Jin reportedly turned down the offer in "Missing You," which stars Park Yoo Chun and Yoo Seung Ho.
However, it was the "Princess Hours" star Yoon Eun Hye who took the female lead role with the series raking an average nationwide rating of 13.7 percent.
