'Yumi's Cells' Lead Stars Ahn Bo Hyun & Kim Go Eun Reunite at the BDSA
Many were delighted to see "Yumi's Cells" co-stars Ahn Bo Hyun and Kim Go Eun again on live events. The two were at the 1st Blue Dragon Series Awards on July 19 at Incheon's Paradise City.
They teamed up in "Yumi's Cells" Season 1 and now Ahn Bo Hyun's character Woong made his appearance again in the current episode broadcast of the drama's season 2.
As their story continues in the series, Yumi and Woong shippers were overjoyed to have seen the genuine gesture of Ahn Bo Hyun towards Kim Go Eun at the recent prestigious awarding ceremony.

Kim Go Eun won Best Actress at this year's Blue Dragon Series Awards. Her co-labelmate and friend Han Hyo Joo gave her a warm hug before she went to the stage and received the trophy. Before receiving the award, the "My Name" actor congratulated the Korean star before receiving the award.

Ahn Bo Hyun Teary-Eyed Because of 'Yumi's Cell's' Former Partner Kim Go Eun
In her acceptance speech, the "Goblin" female lead star thanked "Yumi's Cells" leading men and co-stars Ahn Bo Hyun and GOT7's Jinyoung. When she returned to her spot, the camera panned to Ahn Bo Hyun. The actor's short but genuine expression towards Go Eun went viral.

The actor got teary-eyed and emotional while listening to Kim Go Eun's speech. At the same time, he looked proud of Kim Go Eun for winning the award. After the ceremony ended, the "Military Prosecutor Doberman" lead star made an Instagram update, sharing a photo of himself with former onscreen partner Kim Go Eun, the "Yumi's Cells" webtoon owner, and the series' director.
Love and support for the two actors remained consistent. They never failed to show their close friendship.
Furthermore, Kim Go Eun also got emotional during her speech and admitted she didn't expect to win, but hearing her name to receive an award tore her up.
