It's no surprise if BTS' oldest member, who is best known as Mr. Worldwide Handsome, enters the world of K-drama and films. For one, Kpop idol, whose real name is Kim Seok Jin, studied at the prestigious Konkuk University under the Department of Film and Visual Arts and earned his Master's in Film at Hanyang Cyber University.
Although ARMYs has been manifesting this for quite a long time, it seems like fans would get to see the BTS member acting on screen.
Kim Nam Gil Reveals Working with Younger Generation Including BTS Jin
During his interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, producer, director, and renowned actor Kim Nam Gil shared differences between working with the younger generation versus the senior stars, which he calls the hyungs and noonas. The former means older male while the latter meas female friends or colleagues.
The 42-year-old star mentioned that it is easier for him to communicate with older acquaintances than the younger generation because of the digital age.
As obtained by an outlet, Kim Nam Gil then shared the celebrities he is currently working with, and surprisingly, BTS Jin was included.
"I have worked with younger people like BTS Jin, [ASTRO's] Cha Eunwoo, and [Girls' Generation's] Seohyun, but it seems I have difficulties communicating with them," he said.

The veteran star didn't discuss further details regarding the BTS member's upcoming project. Still, it appears that Jin and Kim Nam Gil will have good chemistry, whether in a director-actor relationship or as co-stars.
To recall, the Kpop star initially planned on pursuing his acting career after watching the period drama "Queen Seondeok" starring Kim Nam Gil.
Kim Nam Gil's Upcoming Projects
After starring in his K-drama comeback "Through the Darkness," where he gained a Best Actor nomination at the recently held 1st Blue Dragon Series Awards, Kim Nam Gil is set to have back-to-back projects in the coming year.
The award-winning star is currently gearing up for the upcoming webtoon-based series "Island Season 1" alongside Lee Da Hee, Sung Joon, and Cha Eun Woo.
The OCN's action thriller series is set to premiere sometime this 2022.
Set on Jeju Island, several fans think BTS's Jin might be a part of this series after the Kpop star posted photos of himself in a similar location.
However, this is yet to be confirmed as representatives are tight-lipped about the singer's drama appearance.
Adding to the list of Kim Nam Gil's new drama, he will also headline the cast of "Song of the Bandits." He will work alongside Girls' Generation's Seohyun, Lee Hyun Wook, Lee Ho Jung, and Yoo Jae Myung.
Set in the 1920s, the action drama is Netflix's original series which will debut in 2023.
