While Hallyu continues to gain the attention of global audiences through its blockbuster TV shows like "Squid Game," "All of Us Are Dead," and more, Korean celebrities are also taking the world by storm with their Hollywood debuts. From Park Seo Joon to another rumored award-winning actor who is in talks to have his first international project, these four Korean celebrities have and will appear in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies. The 37-year-old actress is the first South Korean star to join the cast of the Marvel Studios project.

Claudia Kim, also known as Kim Soo Hyun, took the role of Dr. Helen Cho in the 2015 "Avengers: Age of Ultron" headlined by Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, and more.

Besides her MCU stint, Claudia Kim also appeared in another Hollywood movie. She played Nagini in the 2018 film "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald," featuring Eddie Redmayne.

Interestingly, she had her K-drama comeback in 2021, 5 years after she starred in MBC's melodrama "Monster."

For her return to the small screen, Claudia Kim worked with "Squid Game" star Park Hae Soo and Lee Hee Joon for the thriller mystery "Chimera" and took the role of a criminal profiler named Eugene Hathaway.

Ma Dong Seok

From his blockbuster movie "Train to Busan," Korean-American actor Ma Dong Seok, also known as Don Lee, joined Angelina Jolie's 2021 movie "The Eternals."

The 51-year-old actor played a significant role as he took the role of Gilgamesh, a powerful eternal who is known for being the strongest and kindest member of the community.

At the height of the movie's release, Ma Dong Seok spoke about working in Hollywood and doing projects in Korea.

As obtained by an outlet, despite getting offers internationally he shared that his "base is in Korean films" and focuses on delivering local movies; however, the actor added, "but I think it'll be fun to film in a different atmosphere."

Ma Dong Seok recently starred in a smash hit film "The Roundup" with Son Seok Koo, which raked 12 million viewers at the Korean box office, and he is set to reprise his role in "The Outlaws 3."

Park Seo Joon

Fans rejoiced after Park Seo Joon, and his agency confirmed that he was set to join the cast of "The Marvels."

Although his team and the actor kept tight-lipped about his role for his Hollywood debut, rumors sparked that he would play the character of Amadeus Cho, a Korean-American known for his incredible intelligence.

Lee Jung Jae

The award-winning actor is reportedly in talks to have his Hollywood debut with Marvel Studios.

According to Korea Joongang Daily, Lee Jung Jae is in negotiations to appear in an MCU movie, but his agency Artist Company shared that they "cannot reveal anything" at this point.

Interestingly, the outlet also mentioned viewers' speculations regarding Lee Jung Jae's MCU character and thinks that the actor might play the villain in the sequel to "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings," or the antagonist, Mister Negative, in the "Spider-Man" series.
