Joy News shared on July 29 that South Korean stars Suzy and Yang Se Jong, who will lead the romance drama "The Girl Downstairs" (Working Title), were spotted filming the series. Though the outlet didn't mention the exact location of the filming set, fans and viewers were delighted to hear the news.
'The Girl Downstairs' Synopsis
"The Girl Downstairs" is based on the Naver webtoon "Lee Doona." It follows the story of an idol named Lee Doo Na, who chooses to retire from the competitive entertainment industry, and Lee Won Jun, an ordinary university student.
Due to an unexpected reason, the two will end up living together under one roof and soon develop special feelings for each other.
After her promising acting in Coupang Play's "Anna." Suzy is expected to transform into an idol in her new series. She takes the role of Lee Do Na. Opposite her is Yang Se Jong, who plays the character of Lee Won Jun.
